Proposed Legislation

In Article VII, Section 1 of the By-Laws of the Delta Upsilon International Fraternity, the Constitution and/or By-Laws may be amended by a majority present at the Undergraduate Convention or Assembly of Trustees… provided that at least 90 days prior to such vote, notice of any proposed amendments shall be provided to each undergraduate and alumni chapter.

If you have any piece of legislation you wish to bring before the Fraternity’s bi-cameral legislative system, please advise the International Headquarters so that adequate and proper notice may be given to all undergraduate and alumni chapters. Recommendations must be received no later than April 15, 2009 and may be submitted to ihq@deltau.org.

Undergraduate Convention:   
Each undergraduate chapter should have its voting delegate present at the Convention, which is the annual business meeting of Delta Upsilon’s undergraduate chapters. The 2009 Convention is currently scheduled for Thursday evening, July 23, 2009.

Alumni Assembly:
Each alumni chapter should have its voting delegate present at the Assembly, which is the annual business meeting of Delta Upsilon’s alumni chapters. The 2009 Assembly is currently scheduled for Saturday morning, July 25, 2009.
