Wednesday

DU at the Capitol
Arrive a day early and join local DU alumni for an early evening reception in the grand reception room inside the New York State Capitol. This historic and grand building will be the perfect place to kickoff the weekend’s activities with an evening of DU fellowship and special presentations.

Thursday

Cooperstown and the Baseball Hall of FameA charter bus will depart from the conference hotel at 7:00am and take you to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York. You will have approximately five hours to tour the museum, browse the shops in downtown Cooperstown, and have lunch before the bus departs the museum at 2:00pm to have you back in Albany in time to change and relax a bit before the Opening Banquet.

Included in the $50 cost for this optional trip are round-trip transportation and museum admission. Lunch will be on-your-own.

Accompanied children age 6 and under can attend for $10; accompanied children age 7-12 can attend for $20.

The early departure Thursday morning means you will most likely need to arrive in Albany on Wednesday, and the additional room night at the conference hotel costs $130.

Join us for this side trip, only days before Induction Weekend in Cooperstown!

Opening Banquet
The Opening Banquet will kickoff the weekend and will include special surprises. Complete with dinner, energizing speakers, and awards presentations, it is a perfect way to set tone for the weekend. Come hear inspiring messages from our Will Keim, Judge Terry Bullock, and Coach Lou Holtz!

Friday

A Visit to Williams College
Sure to be the highlight of the weekend! We’ll board charter buses early Friday morning and make the beautiful drive to Williamstown, Massachusetts. Before your self-guided tour, we’ll gather in front of the West College building, the site of our 1834 Founding, for the annual Leadership Institute and 175th Anniversary Celebration group photo. You definitely won’t want to miss the bus.

Undergraduate Convention
Be a part of the Fraternity’s history and have your voice heard, as we conduct the annual business of the Fraternity. Each chapter should have a delegate in attendance to vote on behalf of the chapter. The 175th Anniversary Celebration Convention will convene at 5pm to discuss the 2009 DU Legislation. In addition to the voting delegates, all attendees are welcome and encouraged to attend to witness DU legislation in action.
