For the 175th Anniversary year, the Fraternity commissioned a special 175th Anniversary Badge. The beautiful and unique Badge contains many interesting symbolic points. The gold stones represent our "Seven Stars" and also create a "chevron," as is represented on the Fraternity's Coat of Arms. The chevron is angled up representing DU's next 175 years and the forward progress of the Fraternity. The blue stones along the bottom represent our Four Founding Principles, and the fact that they are on the bottom and bolder (darker stone) shows that these principles are the foundation for DU as the stones are the foundation of the Badge.
